Really grateful to Jane Brooks Law for completing our purchase of our first home. Efficient service from Diane’s team, always on hand to answer any questions. Each step of the process was done fairly quickly no hiccups along the way. Special mention to Ellie and Molly who we dealt with for the most part and they were amazing.

Never recommend never use them again Response to JBL reply If I am not or never been a customer can I have a refund please of costs paid dec 22 and march 23 ! I did send a complaint in jan/ feb which was forwarded by one of your solicitors when we still was going thru your conveyancing/purchasing and selling. And I am still waiting a response! Very quick and easy process using these guys. We had Nikki Harrison dealing with us and she was great, no nonsense even when dealing with a mortgage broker I used. Will definitely be back when its time to move

Got the job done eventually but disappointed with the experience. Spelling error in the introductory pack and even an error in the contract itself. Only realised when I pointed it out to them. Unable to properly explain something to me over the phone even after the person on the other end asked a colleague what something meant and eventually I had to Google it myself where I found the answer in less than a minute. Would never use again and have recommended friends avoid.

I have been an Estate Agent for over 34 years and trying to find really good solicitors that will work with me at a speedy and efficient pace is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.... I have found a new needle in Lindsay Burdett! I can honestly say that there are only two or three solicitors that I could 'hand on heart' feel comfortable in recommending and Lindsay Burdett at the Jane Brooks Law Hedon office has just been added to my very small red book of solicitors I could truly recommend. Lindsay has been amazing and together we have managed to get a transaction through from point of offer to exchange of contracts in under five weeks (despite the distance between us). We are using Jane Brooks Law in the sale and purchase of our properties after being recommended them by our house builders - we thought the relationship would help make the process go more smoothly however this is not the case. Solicitors are not cheap and despite this we have received nothing but rude and obnoxious communication every time we have asked for a progress update and have had to chase them on numerous occasions to send out paperwork or follow up with third parties. It is extremely difficult to speak to your solicitor at Jane Brooks law directly and when asking for an update on our house progress, we have either been told they are too busy to look at our file or that they cannot proceed until the next step in the process has happened. Whilst I appreciate this is the case, despite paying for their services it seems impossible to get a simple answer to the question 'what is still outstanding before we can exchange'. Having never sold a property before we are also unsure of the process so asked for a simple explanation of this and whether our buyer's were looking to complete quickly or not. Again we were not provided with an answer and they told us they would be in touch. It appears as though they are taking on every prospective client to earn more money but do not have the resources to manage them all effectively. I would definitely not use them again in the future due to their rude and poor service.
